The PDS-GO is a lightweight, small, sensitive, personnal gamma radiation detector, designed to meet the ANSI N42.32 radiation detection requirements.The PDS-GO has been designed using the latest state-of-the-art electronic components including the advanced technology of a Silicon photomultiplier as a detector.
The PDS-GO boasts a measuring range from background radiation levels to 50 mR/h (500 µSv/h) with a sensitivity of 1100 cps/mR/h (110 cps/µSv/h) making it ideal for use as a highly sensitive survey meter.
The PDS-GO features twin displays using LCD’s. When the unit is carried on the users belt, the top mounted LCD provides a simple and straightforward indication of presence, intensity or absence of a radiation field. The larger, front mounted LCD displays more detailed information in an equally understandable format.
The PDS-GO is especially useful for first responders, law enforcement officers and for all radiation professionals dealing in safety, security of sensitive installations, interdiction and border control. This small instruments is easily carried on the body and is used to detect and indicate the presence and magnitude of gamma emitting radiation.
