5. TPM 903B Portable Portal Monitor
The TPM-903B is a lightweight, portable portal monitor that is ideal for either permanent or temporary installation. The aperture accommodates pedestrians, wheelchairs, walkers, ambulance gurneys and strollers; and can also be easily adapted as a vehicle monitor.
Emergency response teams, security forces, HAZMAT and evacuation teams can make use of the adaptable TPM-903B. Quick and easy installation with minimal instruction needed, it is the perfect tool to provide personnel radiation screening in an emergency response scenario or temporary security event. Head-to-toe coverage is achieved in quick fashion, allowing for maximum throughput without the need for excessive searches of personnel, hand carried items, or vehicles.
The TPM-903B also detects shielded sources, providing high confidence for security and emergency response personnel. The TPM-903B exceeds the FEMA 137Cs sensitivity requirements. Monitoring for beta and gamma radiation, the wide, full length detectors of the TPM-903B provide maximum coverage of walk-through pedestrians as well as wheeled persons and items.
