DKL International, Inc. produces a patented, passive electronic sensor that quickly and reliably detects the presence of living humans at long distances, through virtually all barriers, and in difficult weather conditions. Made in the USA, the sensors are available in the DKL LifeGuard, a hand-held detector weighing about 2 lbs, and DKL SilentGuard, a customized invisible electronic tripwire designed to protect perimeters and secure facilities. The sensors are human specific, and operate by detecting the unique electrical field created by a beating human heart.

The DKL LifeGuard is in use now in counter-terrorism, mine rescue, law enforcement, firefighting, border control, container searches and by search and rescue teams in Asia and Europe.
