Vehicle Mitigation (Crash) Barrier Systems
The surface mount Lane Barrier (1620) and Wedge Barrier (1625) are ideal in applications where a higher degree of vehicle traffic control is desired, but without the expense of bollards or crash beams – making them ideal for apartment communities, gated condominiums, car rental agencies, parking lots and toll booths.
CAUTION: not to be used in areas subject to freezing weather with the potential for snow and ice accumulation.
The 1625 Wedge Barrier is crash rated to ASTM F2656 with a PU-30 (P1, P2) rating. The 1620 Lane Barrier is not crash rated. It is intended to provide a formidable barrier to help prevent passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks from driving through a controlled traffic lane.
