RuggedEnclosure™
The RuggedEnclosure™ is a tough, welded aluminum, hard mount enclosure built to house RuggedCom networking products and improve ratings for shock, vibration, emissions, immunity, temperature, humidity and ingress protection. Ten external patch panels with up to 64 MIL grade connectors provide tremendous flexibility and allow the RuggedEnclosure™ to be deployed in many diverse applications. A selection of patch panel cable assemblies allow convenient and simple mapping from internal electronics to the outside world.
The RuggedEnclosure™ is IP65 rated to protect from the ingress of dust and sprayed jets of water. The combination of finned aluminum extrusions and high reliability re-circulating fans optimize heat transfer without the exchange of outside air to improve MTBF for the enclosed electronics. The RuggedEnclosure™ can be used with any rack-mountable RuggedCom products and can house up to three 1U devices or one MX5000.
