Tamron, the pioneer of the Vari-Focal lens, has a complete line of standard, high-resolution and Mega-Pixel compatible Vari-Focal lenses to meet a host of security needs. Tamron’s line-up of Mega-Pixel Compatible Vari-Focal Lenses is designed to complement the exploding market of higher resolution cameras. Our Full HD 1080p 1/2.7" 2.8-8mm F/1.2 (model M13VG288IR) and 1/2.7" 8-50mm F/1.6 (model M13VG850IR)3MP IR-corrected lenses embody our "Double Vari-Focal" concept. These "true" 3MP Day/Night lenses (3MP Day / 3MP Night) cover a wide 2.8mm focal length to a telephoto 50mm focal length with just two lenses, realizing a 126.1 degree to 6.8 degree horizontal FOV on a 1/2.7" camera. Tamron is traded on the JASDAQ. The company is headquartered in Omiya, Japan (the location for R&D, experimental, sales and business control) with several ISO-certified manufacturing facilities in Northern Japan and China.
